Easter Egg Painting

Even though the temps have still been freezing around here, we are ready to fully embrace Spring (alledgedly) headed our way! Just like I said about Christmas a few months ago, Harlow being two has made the holidays so much more fun as a parent. With Easter coming up, we have been soaking up the reason for the season and all the fun that comes with it!

We kicked off our Easter fun by painting some eggs. We been talking a lot to Harlow about some upcoming Easter egg hunts we have planned so she is all about the eggs right now. This was one the easiest activities we have done and she absolutely loved it!

I hard boiled some eggs and I whipped out some dollar store washable paint pallets I got last year and she was in heaven! She loved painting the eggs and watching our water change colors when we rinsed our brush in between colors!

To help make a quick clean up, I used some trash bags to cover our table and cut a hole in the top (for her head) and sides (or her arms) in another trash bag to make an apron. To wash her hands and arms (you better believe she somehow got paint all the way up to her arm pits) I just filled a large bowl with soap and warm water. This is the easiest way to got all the paint off and honestly, she thought playing in the “bubbles” was just as much fun as the painting itself. #momwin!

Don’t forget to follow us on InstagramPinterest and Facebook to keep up with all our fun!
