    Five Current Favs

It’s been a hot minute (or two or twenty, haha) since I have shared some of my current favorite things with you guys. To be honest, I have really been trying to be more intentional with what I share. I don’t want to throw together a blog post just to get “something” posted that does absolutely nothing for you guys. The internet has a way of throwing so much junk at us nowadays, in 2019 I have really need trying to refine my content and make it as useful as possible for you. And in true Marie Kondo fashion, I have had some products really bring me joy lately and…

    DIY Valentine’s Day Heart Hats

Happy almost Valentine’s Day, my loves! Today I am re-sharing one of my very first blog posts from two years ago. Each year, as Harlow gets older and is able to grasp the concept of each holiday more, the more fun it has become for the whole family. Being her first year in preschool, tomorrow is will be her very first Valentine’s Day party and y’all, she is so stinkin’ excited, it is SO sweet! Over the weekend we made these adorable VDay heart hats and she has barely taken hers off! Anything she can wear, gets extra points her in book. Especially if it is something she can pretend is a crown, haha! Maybe you’re…

    DIY Valentine’s Day Heart Stamps

This craft was one of the first posts I shared years ago and its still a V-Day fav! I will be honest, Valentine’s Day has never been huge in our house but as our girls have grown, its been fun getting into the spirit! Add in our severe case of winter time blues over here and I am ALL about every fun little thing fun we can do inside! A busy toddler is a happy toddler in our home. Bonus- I already had all the materials on hand yesterday, so #momwin! All you need for this activity is paper, a paper towel roll and some paint! I usually get these washable…

Low Carb Pesto, Tomato + Mozzarella Chicken

As cliché as it sounds, I have decided to start the New Year with my diet back on track. I keep saying I have a newborn at home, when said newborn is actually eight months old, yikes! Time was already flying, watching our three year old grow but throwing a second kid into the mix has been a whole new time warp! The second half of last year flew by so insanely fast. That being said, I am ready to grab 2019 and make of most of it and more importantly, myself! Whether you’re carb-counting or not, you’re gonna want to make this chicken! It’s so delicious and I usually have all the ingredients in my fridge. I…

    Low Carb Provolone Taco Shells

I’ve been sharing my love for lettuce wraps on Instagram stories this week, and honestly guys, I don’t know I will ever grow sick of them! There are so many different meat and veggie combos you can do, I never seem to get bored of them. Especially taco lettuce wraps, ahh! Ground beef, ground turkey, shredded chicken, you name it- I’m forever putting it into tacos! That brings us to my next little taco hack and guys, it is SO good! Just as versatile as lettuce wraps but hits the spot, even more and only takes a few minutes to prep. All the hard taco shell crunch without a single grain to spoil…

Six Month Old (+ Toddler Sibling) Daily Schedule

Days with a newborn can be a total cluster-eff. No clue when they will need a diaper change or eat (hello, cluster feedings!) again. No idea if that nap you just laid them down for will last two hours or two minutes. They are sure to start crying as soon as you hop in the shower and will most definitely have a blow out as soon as you get them snug and buckled in their car seat. Fast forward six months- you are hopefully a little less exhausted, the baby is eating more at once, less often and you’ve started to at least be able to envision what your new normal…

    Caramel Apple Rounds

Living in Maryland, I have always loved getting all four seasons. I love getting snow in the Winter just as much as I love hitting the beach in the Summer. Fun fact: My dad is a retired Meterologist and I think that’s where my love for all the seasons stems from. Fall has always been a fun time of year and I don’t know if it’s having kids now but between the pumpkin patches visits, apple picking, dressing up in costumes and jumping into piles of raked leaves, fall has jumped to the top of my favorite time of year list, right behind Christmas! We have been having a total…

SAHM Life: 7 Tips To Be More Happy + Productive Every Day

I remember spending my first couple months as a stay at home mom beyond exhausted, just trying to survive, one day at a time. Almost never taking the time to make myself presentable, daily showers were a thing I only dreamed of. Fast forward three years and I have fully embraced this job I can never clock out of, and all the exhaustion that comes with being a SAHM. Somehow with having even more kids in the house, and seemingly getting even less sleep, I have found myself being more productive than ever. I’m sure there are a couple of things that have attributed to this, including just adjusting to #momlife and learning to survive on less sleep. In addition,…

    Hadley’s Nursery Reveal

Putting this nursery together was really a labor of love. In true #secondkidprobs fashion, I actually decorated this nursery for our first baby girl. As soon as we found out we were having another girl, our two year old got upgraded to a Big Girl Room and this room stayed almost exactly the same for the new baby. I was so happy to be having another girl because I definitely wasn’t ready to part with this room yet. It’s so sweet and calming, I love everything about it. I am also having so much fun putting Harlow’s new Big Girl Room together so that post should be up in a couple…
