    TWO Holiday Stove Top Potpourris

We are ready for Halloween over here but I will honest, I’m just about ready to put up my Christmas tree! Ok, now try not to make fun of me, but with Harlow now being two, this Fall and Halloween season has become so magical to experience through her eyes. It’s almost like her first fall now that she is old enough to understand and enjoy it so much more. During all of this, I can’t help but get excited for the upcoming holiday season! I picture her taking in all the magic and spirit of Christmas. I have shared with you guys before my love for Stove Top Potpourris…

    DIY Cinnamon Ornaments

Now that my oldest daughter is three, the Holidays have become so magical all over again. It’s like I’m a kid again, seeing everything for the first time, through her eyes. It’s been fun combining me and my husband’s traditions as well and making them our own. Something we have been sure to do the passed few years is make Cinnamon Ornaments. I love making these for a couple reasons. First off, they smell absolutely incredible- like only what I can imagine Christmas dreams are made of. Secondly, there is something so sweet and old fashion about them. I love the idea of making a batch or two of…

    Hadley’s Nursery Reveal

Putting this nursery together was really a labor of love. In true #secondkidprobs fashion, I actually decorated this nursery for our first baby girl. As soon as we found out we were having another girl, our two year old got upgraded to a Big Girl Room and this room stayed almost exactly the same for the new baby. I was so happy to be having another girl because I definitely wasn’t ready to part with this room yet. It’s so sweet and calming, I love everything about it. I am also having so much fun putting Harlow’s new Big Girl Room together so that post should be up in a couple…

    DIY Framed Recipe Cards

When it comes to home decor, I have to admit I am a sucker for photographs. We have tons of photos all over our house. There are two major reasons I love decorating with photos: 1.) they are super cheap to have printed and 2.) I’m a total sentimental sap! Cheap and sentimental? Yeah, I’m about it! A couple months back a started a sort of command center with kids craft supplies organization. I needed storage and organization for all the crap taking over my kitchen table and and counters. I got wire baskets for everything from magazines to recipe books to paints and glue. After I hung the…

    Spring Stove Top Potpourri

Spring is right around the corner and I can’t get enough of everything warm weather related! Cue the opened windows and clothes hanging to dry outside! This crazy warm weather we have been getting has me ready for spring in all the right ways. When I think spring, I think fresh! Fresh air, fresh flowers, I could go on all day. It’s got me simplifying around the house too. Every January when the Christmas decorations come down, everything seems so bare! I miss all the garland and twinkling lights. But as soon as spring is in sight I find the bareness refreshing. It’s refined, clean and fresh. There’s that word…
