    Five Current Favs for Kiddos

Five Current Favs for Kiddos I came in hot last week bragging about my Five Current Favs featuring all kid/baby-unrealted items. You know, just things I have been really loving for myself and bring me joy. Not a feeding or diapering product in sight, haha! Well what can I say? Mommin’ is my full time job so anything that can make said job easier or keep my kiddos happier, thus making my job easier is a huge win in my book. So I am sharing some real mom-lifesavers, today! These are products I have found myself using daily. Some new discoveries, some old re-discoveries, all amazing! 1 // Boon Feeder I…

Six Month Old (+ Toddler Sibling) Daily Schedule

Days with a newborn can be a total cluster-eff. No clue when they will need a diaper change or eat (hello, cluster feedings!) again. No idea if that nap you just laid them down for will last two hours or two minutes. They are sure to start crying as soon as you hop in the shower and will most definitely have a blow out as soon as you get them snug and buckled in their car seat. Fast forward six months- you are hopefully a little less exhausted, the baby is eating more at once, less often and you’ve started to at least be able to envision what your new normal…

SAHM Life: 7 Tips To Be More Happy + Productive Every Day

I remember spending my first couple months as a stay at home mom beyond exhausted, just trying to survive, one day at a time. Almost never taking the time to make myself presentable, daily showers were a thing I only dreamed of. Fast forward three years and I have fully embraced this job I can never clock out of, and all the exhaustion that comes with being a SAHM. Somehow with having even more kids in the house, and seemingly getting even less sleep, I have found myself being more productive than ever. I’m sure there are a couple of things that have attributed to this, including just adjusting to #momlife and learning to survive on less sleep. In addition,…

    Hadley’s Nursery Reveal

Putting this nursery together was really a labor of love. In true #secondkidprobs fashion, I actually decorated this nursery for our first baby girl. As soon as we found out we were having another girl, our two year old got upgraded to a Big Girl Room and this room stayed almost exactly the same for the new baby. I was so happy to be having another girl because I definitely wasn’t ready to part with this room yet. It’s so sweet and calming, I love everything about it. I am also having so much fun putting Harlow’s new Big Girl Room together so that post should be up in a couple…

What’s (REALLY) In My Hospital Bag

With less than two months to go until my due date, I’ve been in full nesting mode. Checking things off my to do list everyday and loving it! I’ll be honest- making lists, checking them off and getting ish done is one of my favorite pastimes, hahaha! #hellonerd I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant with our second baby girl. Girls rule the world over here! My husband and I both only have sisters (no brothers) and each sister has all girls, too- No nephews for us! I’ve always been a little bit of an over-preparer but I’ll take that over being under-prepared any day! Or cue major anxiety over here, shew!…

What’s In My Toddler Diaper Bag

I get asked all the time what I keep in my diaper bag for daily outings. Even though my daughter is potty-trained so there aren’t technically any diapers packed in there, I found some great staples that make going out with my toddler a lot easier. This covers all bases, from basic food and drink for both little and mama to entertainment for my two year old. A happy toddler makes for a happy mommy! I just recently switched over to a backpack style diaper bag and holy cow! Why did I wait so long? I have been loving my new Dokoclub Diaper Bag. I found mine on Wish.com but I’ve…

Time Out Is For Me, Not For Them

When it comes to disciplining toddlers, there is an overwhelming amount of information out there. Do this, not that, do this instead …SHEW! For a first-time parent, it can be beyond overwhelming. I remember my parents coming over to visit when Harlow was just a couple days old. My mom asked my husband and I, “How do you like being parents?” It was an interesting question because I really hadn’t felt like we had done any “parenting” yet. Lets be honest, the first six months, you are just trying to keep this thing alive! For me, my daughter entering toddlerhood was the start of what felt like “parenting” to me. When it comes to…
